Day 01: Arrival at Bagdogra – Phuentsholing (154 kms, 4 hrs drive)
Upon arrival at Bagdogra you are meet & greet later escort to Phuentsholing
Overnight stay at Hotel in Phuentsholing.
Day 02: Phuentsholing
After breakfast a full day guided city tour visiting: Zhangto pelri Lhankhang, Crocodile breeding center, Bhutan gate, stroll around Phuentsholing area & Kharbandi.

Day 03: Phuentsholing - Thimphu (145 kms, 04 hrs drive)
late morning, a guided city tour of Thimphu including visits to the Memorial Chorten National Textile Museum, Folk Heritage museum, and the National Library. Also visit the Memorial Chorten, the stupa constructed in the memory of Bhutan’s third king, His Late Majesty, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk in 1974. The Late King was popularly known as the Father of modern Bhutan. Beautiful paintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep vision of Buddhist philosophy. a short drive to visit the Changangkha Lhakhang, it is a beautiful fortress, like a temple and a monastic school, on a ridge above Thimpu, South of Motithang. For amazing views of Thimphu valley, drive to the BBS Tower, followed by a visit to the mini zoo or the Taking Preserve- it is the National animal of Bhutan, and it is a cross breed between cow and a goat. Finally visit the AnimDratshang (nunnery) at Drubtho Goemb On your way back visit the Tashichhodzong : an impressive fortress/monastery houses Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the King and various government offices. It is also the summer residence of Chief Abbot and central monk body.
After the visits you could also spend some time shopping for traditional Bhutanese handicrafts and jewelry.

Day 04: Thimphu - Paro (50 kms 80 minutes drive) - Punakha (75 kms / 02 hrs drive) - Thimphu
After breakfast we will drive to Paro enroute visiting Punakha via Wangduephodrang, after short nature walks in the Phobjikha valley, enroute stopping at the Wangdue Dzong which is balanced on a spur at the meeting point of two rivers. The Dzong is placed remarkably, as it covers the spur and commands an impressive view over both the north-south and east-west directions. Wangdue district is well-known for its bamboo work, slate and stone carving.

Day 05: Paro
After an early breakfast , visit the Bhutan’s National Museum, Ta Dzong which was once a watchtower, constructed during the inter-valley wars of the 17th century. Ta Dzong holds intriguing collections of religious Thangkha paintings, art, relics and Bhutan’s exquisite postage stamps. After visiting the beautiful museum walk down a hillside to visit Rinpung Dzong which has an elaborate history. This large monastery was constructed in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first ruler of Bhutan. The entrance to Dzong is through a traditional covered bridge called NemiZam. A walk through the bridge gives a beautiful view of the architectural marvel of the majestic monastery and the life around Dzong.
Afterwards, if time permits you can take an excursion to the Taktsang Monastery (5 hrs trek). Taktshang Monastery is one of the famous monasteries of Bhutan. The Taktsang Monastery is balanced on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche reached here on the back of a tigress and meditated here at the monastery and so it’s called the ’Tiger’s nest’. The Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime visit this sacred monastery. On 19 April 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of the building but now this Bhutanese jewel has been restored to its original splendor. Those not keen to trek can visit the Chele-la pass (at 4200 meters). The beautiful road hikes up towards the pass through blue pine & rhododendron forest for about 45 km. The Chele La viewpoint offers an outstanding view of 7314 meter Chomolhari peaks & Jichu Drakey. It is about a one and half hour drive from Paro city to the pass. A short walk around the viewpoint can be taken to smell the grand view of the Eastern Himalayan range. On your way back to Paro, visit Drukgyel Dzong, it is a delightful village nestling at its foot, was built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to honor his victory over the Tibetan invaders.

Day 06: Paro
Today morning you are transferred to Paro Airport to board flight for Delhi / Onwards

Payment for internal flights is generally due within 14 days of booking. Should you need to cancel at any time, your deposit will be non-refundable. Although we will try to refund your internal airfare less any penalties levied by the airline.
In the case of GIT’s
Final Payment:
1st instalment is due 90 days prior to departure. If you need to cancel between 60 and 90 days prior to departure, we will refund 25% of your trip cost, as well as your internal airfare less any penalties levied by the airline.
2nd and final instalment is due within 45 days prior to departure. If you need to cancel within 45 days of departure we will not be able to issue you a refund.
In the case of FIT’s
Full and final payment is due within 45 – 30 days prior to departure. If you need to cancel within 30 days of departure we will not be able to issue you a refund. Your internal airfare will be refunded less any penalties levied by the airline.
