Rajasthan is a land filled with cultures, traditions, and music. A Rural Rajasthan Tour can be perfect to witness the best attraction of the state, its colorful, warm, hospitable and smiling people. On its western side, there is a golden Desert of Thar full of ancient temples, palaces, forts, and sand dunes. On the other hand, the lakes, mountains and step wells fascinate us. Moreover, the wildlife of Ranthambhore especially the tiger awaits in the jungle, so as the birds of Bharatpur.
The other side of the state - the fresco on the grand Havelis of Shekhawati tells the grandeur of a bygone era. And Jaipur – the jewel of Rajasthan has preserved everything from the history be it enormous Amber Fort or ornamental Wind Palace. Each grain of sand here sings the famous song “Welcome to my land, Beloved.”

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Delhi,
Upon arrival at Delhi IGI airport you are meet & greet with our company representative and he will escort you to the hotel and will help you with the check -In formalities.
Day at your own leisure. Over Night stay at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After a relaxing breakfast, the tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a guided sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.
Full day a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar.
In New Delhi, visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948.
We will stop for lunch at Good local Restaurant. Afterwards visit Humayun Tomb, This tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal.
Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India.
Culminate the day at Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture.

Day 03: Delhi – Udaipur (By Flight)
After breakfast you are transferred to Delhi IGI airport to board flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival at Delhi IGI airport you are meet & greet with our company representative and he will escort you to the hotel and will help you with the check -In formalities.
Udaipur, often called the Venice of India, this is a city of lakes, palaces and gardens. There is no place in India which appeals more to the imagination of poets and painters, travelers and writers, than Udaipur, the lovely lakeside capital of Mewar. The city's inherent romance and beauty, along with its remarkable past, bristling with episodes of heroism and splendor, continue to enthrall visitors.
Udaipur, sometimes called the City of Dawn, looms up like a vision in white. Surrounded by hills and mountains, and set on the edge of three lakes which give way to a fertile plain, it is bewitching in all its details - narrow streets lined by vivid colored stalls, gardens, temples and palaces - every feature mirrored in the placid blue waters of Lake Pichhola.
Udaipur retains the essence of a quaint town with cobble stone streets, plentiful local bazaars, marble palaces, lakeside gardens, temples and havelis. It is a traditionally planned fortified city surrounded by walls and massive gates. The rulers, beginning with Maharana Singh in the mid 16th century, prided themselves on being independent from other more powerful regional neighbors, particularly the Mughals.

Day 04: Udaipur
In the morning we will visit the City Palace, the largest Palace complex in the area, and the Museum of Rajasthan. The City Palace is a blend of stern Rajput military architecture on the outside and lavish Mughal-inspired decorative art on the inside. Set on a hill overlooking Lake Pichhola, it is quite large and made up of at least four separate inter-connecting palaces, built over a period of nearly 3 centuries. The palace museum contains a wonderful collection of old Rajput weaponry. Also visit the Crystal Gallery.
In the afternoon, visit artists’ studios of the miniature paintings and some time independent to stroll the quaint city and take a walk through the colorful Bapu Bazaar. It is easy to walk about independently just outside the city palace gates for a real experience of the local culture beyond the tourist shops.

Day 05: Udaipur to Dungarpur (105 kms / 02 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Dungarpur to explore the less heard local Bhil & Meena tribal villages to know more about their traditions, Culture and daily-life more firmly. In Dungarpur, Bhil & Meena tribes are famous for their sacrifices.
After interacting with Bhil & Meena tribes, we will check-in to your heritage hotel Udai Bilas Palace.
Later on we will move to Juna Mahal, which embellished with frescoes, murals, green stones and mirror inlays that represent the unique construction style of the ancient rulers. Color paintings and glasswork done inside this historical palace make it stand out miles ahead of others.
After enjoying the artistry at Juna Mahal, we will walk through the tiny lanes of the town.
Day 06: Arthuna Excursion (02 HRS one way)
New day, new adventures! Did you ever try to tie a turban and failed? Maybe you have come to learn how to tie a turban correctly here.
On your journey through the Rural Rajasthan Tour, be ready to meet the Rabri & Bhil tribes personally to know how they are enjoying the life in a real way, away from the limelight of the modern world.
We will also visit Arthuna temples and Lord Shiva temples famous for its archaeological significance located at Arthuna village which is also known as the village of old and broken temples.
After it, we will move to one more jaw opening design monument Dev Somnath temple which solely made of stones without using the lime or sand, standing on the 150 pillars. I bet you will only say after seeing the Dev Somnath temple that is “Amazing”.
Day 07: Drive to Ranakpur (200 kms / 04 hrs)
After taking the breakfast, we will go to Ranakpur from the city of hills. In the afternoon, after reaching to Ranakpur, we will go to villages of Bhils, Rabaris, Gadulia Lohars and Gracias tribe.
You will witness here their colorful life with lots of inspiration to take home with them.
Gadulia Lohars finds its name from scenic Bullock Carts what they use for traveling from one place to another.
Garacias tribe is known as the fallen Rajputs of Rajasthan, famous for their stunning marriage tradition via decampment. In a nutshell, every tribe in Rajasthan has an untold story for you!
Next, we will move to Ranakpur Jain temples that don’t need any introduction. No words can precisely describe the real beauty of the most famous Jain temple. Once you are there, you will come to know why we use no words for this beautiful architecture.
Day 08: Drive to Barmer (265 kms / 05 hrs)
Today, we will drive to the Thar Desert of the Rajasthan. Here first you will check-in to the hotel at Barmer. The fifth-largest district of Rajasthan has lots of hidden stories in open book. One of the most hidden tales is the Kiradu temples!
After lunch, we are going to visit Kiradu Temples group (5 temples) – The Khajuraho of Rajasthan. The less spoken temples dedicated to the Lord Shiva famous for astounding and illustrious statuaries. Someshvara temple is the most marvelous among the group of 5 temples.
The Kiradu temples exemplify the heavenly and elucidate tells from epos and daily life.
Day 09: Ethnic Villages Excursion
Today, we will explore the local villages of Barmer where we can notice lots of hidden and infamous talent. Barmer is also a must-visit tourist destination regarding rich handicrafts, traditional art forms, and music.
The rural tourism at its peak in Barmer! You can notice creativity on the huts and houses of every community here.
As talent doesn’t have any caste and color, you can easily spot Bhopas and Dholis while singing on the streets that you can’t miss. Mangniyar Community is very famous in all over the world and we will arrange a live program from them. You can enjoy the folk music performance in one of the villages we explore!
Day 10: Drive to Luni (180 kms / 3½ hrs)
After breakfast we will drive forward to Luni and check-in to the hotel! Afternoon, we will visit Bishnoi villages.
The Bishnoi community has its own identity which is known as the environmental savior worrier community. No one can forget the endless saga of the sacrifice of the environment protection at Khejarli, Jodhpur where 363 Bishnois sacrificed their lives to protect their beloved trees in feudal eta. They still believe that if you can protect the trees, even by getting your head cut, then consider it a win-win deal. Bishnoi community strictly follows the 29 rules set by the Guru Jambeshwar.
Day 11: Drive to Bijaipur (335 kms / 06 hrs)
After breakfast, Drive to Bijaipur, check –In to hotel. Bijaipur has folded beauty inside it. It’s located beside a lake. We will explore the locals and around Bijaipur. Castle Bijaipur is a famous heritage hotel now situated in the middle of the village where you feel the peace and homely feelings.
Bijaipur folds itself the number of places to visit nearby! Whether you are a yoga enthusiast or a bird lover, Bijaipur will make your day memorable. You can enjoy horse safari, bird watching, Pangarh Lake, village walk, folk music and dance.
Day 12: Drive to Kota (160 kms/ 03 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kota, check-in to the hotel and take some rest! Later we will explore the village life of the Gujjars.
Gurjar or Gujjar tribe strictly follows their old-aged traditions and are very hospitable. They are basically the cattle herders and it will be great fun to watch the ladies milking their animals in the evening.
Day 13: Shahabad Excursion (03 HRS one way)
After having breakfast, today we will visit one more primitive of Rajasthan called Sahariya. Drive to Shahabad to explore the real culture of Sahariyas which is loaded with the tales of honor, love, pride, sacrifice. In the evening we will drive back to Kota.
Day 14: Drive to Bundi (01 HR)
Today, we drive to Kota the ancient land of Bundi. First, we will make a visit to the famous Bundi Fort. Bundi Fort, situated on a steep hill famous for its architectural beauty, the mind-blowing paintings, and the glorious history.
You will fall in love with the detailed construction style of the fort and the stunning view of the city from the top of the fort. Later, walk through the vibrant market to feel the lifestyle of Rajasthan more closely. You can also do some shopping here.
Day 15: Drive to Pachewar (175 kms, 04 hrs)
After breakfast, we drive to Pachewar. It’s a gift to yourself to get a walk through the Pachewar village; you can witness here some talented traditional local artists. Pachewar is famous for its toymakers, blue pottery kiln, Pachewar fort.
We will explore the village life by having a chat with local craftsman and artisans specialized in blue pottery, carpet, colorful tie and dye. The major communities around Pachewar are Jaats, Malis, Gujjars, and Potters.
Day 16: Drive to Shekhawati (225 kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Nawalgarh – the hub of famous ancient Havelis. In Nawalgarh, every Haveli is different in architectural design and the beautifully detailed carving done inside. We visit Poddar Haveli first.
Poddar Haveli is a well-preserved museum with a fantastic piece of artwork on the walls and sculptures which are beautiful enough to dig into the tales of bygone glory of the Shekhawati region. We will also stop in the near villages to see the culture and traditions of Shekhawati. Spend the night at Vivaana Culture hotel in Churi Ajitgarh.
Day 17: Drive to Delhi (250 kms / 05 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Delhi, check in to hotel for wash & change near IGI International Airport. Late evening you are transferred to IGI airport to board flight to home.
