South India Wildlife and Culture Tour
South India is culturally known as the real home of the Dravidian’s. Due to the geo-climatic diversity of the Indian sub-continent it fosters and shelters a wide range of wildlife which consists of nearly 350 species of mammals besides 1200 species of birds. Each region has something special to share. Most of the region witnesses the Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant.
Activities
Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore
On arrival at Bangalore airport our representative will be there to greet you and will take you to the hotel. He will also provide you all the documents and will also brief you regarding the tour program. Check in at hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.
Bangalore is well known as the city of gardens. It is considered as one of the astonishing city of India due to its amazing park avenues, and exquisite buildings.
In Bangalore Lal Bagh garden amazingly exquisite and interesting to visit. Here you will witness much collection of exotic Indian Tropical and Sub- tropical vegetation.

Day 2: Bangalore Sightseeing
Post breakfast you will head for sightseeing tour where you can visit Lal Bagh, Cabbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, The Bull Temple, Sri Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, Ulsoor Lake.

Day 3: Bangalore – Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary - Coorg (by surface approx 254 kms / 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast leave for Coorg enroute visiting Mysore. Here you can visit Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary which covers an area of 57 acres. This sanctuary is considered as a small island which is situated at the bank of the river Kaveri. People who are bird lovers this place is perfect for them.
In this sanctuary one can witness bird species like egrets, herons and white ibis. The best time to visit this place is during June to October. Afterwards drive to Coorg.

Day 04: Coorg
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Coorg. Coorg known for spice plantation, Tea plantation and breathtaking landscapes. Visit Buddhist settlement at Bylekuppe, Raja's Tomb & Kaveri Nisargadhama. Evening back to hotel and enjoy serene beauty of Coorg.

Day 5: Coorg - Nagarhole (by surface approx 94 kms / 2½ hrs)
After breakfast leave by surface to Nagarhole upon arrival check in to hotel. Nagarhole National Park is situated in an area of 640 Square KM. The sanctuary is host to the largest herd of Asiatic elephants in the world and innumerable species of birds, flora, and fauna including large predators, reptiles, gaurs, deer, bears, and smaller animals.
Afternoon enjoy Jungle safari. Evening at leisure.
Day 06: Nagarhole
After breakfast leave for wildlife Safari else you can also go for coracle ride at Kabini river, where you can witness hoards of elephants and other animals in their natural surroundings.

Day 7: Nagarhole - Bandipur National Park (by surface 125 kms / 3½ hrs)
After breakfast, we leave for Bandipur. Upon arrival check In to your pre-booked hotel.
Bandipur National Park is 872.24 sq km. Once the private hunting grounds of the erstwhile Maharajas, and nestled at the foothills of the Nilgiris, Bandipur has had a long tryst with tigers. One of the thirty reserves identified across the country to save the tiger and its habitat, it’s also one of the last refuges of the endangered Asiatic wild elephant. Apart from the two famed residents, a number of other endangered species such as sloth bears, gaurs, Indian rock pythons, jackals, muggers, and four-horned antelopes can be spotted in this national park. Bandipur also shelters sambar, mouse deer, chital, sloth bear, and the rare flying lizard. Over 200 species of birds and a diversity of flora add to its attraction. Bandipur also supports a wide range of timber trees including teak, rosewood, sandalwood, Indian-laurel, Indian Kino tree, giant clumping bamboo, etc.
Take some rest afterwards leave for Jungle safari.

Day 8: Bandipur - Ooty (by surface approx 54 kms / 2 hrs)
After breakfast leave by surface to Ooty. Upon arrival check In to your pre-booked hotel. Later visit places like Lamb’s Rock, Dodabetta Peak, Kodanadu. Dodabetta is considered as the highest point of the district as it is located at a height of 2623 meters.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9: Ooty - Coonoor (by Toy Train Dep 9:15 hrs / Arr 10:25 hrs) – Ooty (By surface 45 minutes drive)
After breakfast; you are transferred to Ooty Railway Station to board Toy Train no. 56139 for Coonoor. Upon arrival at Coonoor railway station you will meet with our company representative Later you can visit Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s nose, Laws Falls, Botanical Garden and t Ooty Lake also enjoy the boat ride on this beautiful lake. Afterwards we drive to Ooty.
Evening you can explore local markets of Ooty.

Day 10: Ooty – Bangalore (by surface 300 kms / 7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, we drop you at Bangalore International airport for your onward journey.
